Most of these monologues were originally produced on the front steps of my High School in Southern Oregon during breaks between classes.

I developed the name the "Town Cryer" after the creation of my second monologue in reference to the term that describes heralds of old who would stand before congregants of a town in order to make public announcements. They were typically dramatized a bit to provoke interest.

Classmates and Teachers all knew it was a performance day when I walked through the school halls wearing my floor-length black trench coat.
